Position Overview
Ascension Global Staffing & Executive is seeking an accomplished Transactional Real Estate Partner to join its growing commercial real estate practice. This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned attorney seeking a platform to build and expand a book of business within a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm culture, working alongside an established team on sophisticated, high-value matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex commercial real estate transactions from origination through closing
- Structure, negotiation, and document acquisitions and dispositions of commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily properties
- Represent developers, owners, lenders, and institutional investors in financing transactions, including construction and permanent loans
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and development agreements
- Advise clients on entity structuring, joint ventures, and equity/debt arrangements for real estate projects
- Oversee due diligence processes, title and survey review, and closing logistics
- Serve as primary client relationship owner, providing strategic counsel on deal structure and risk
- Mentor and supervise associates and support staff on transactional matters
- Actively participate in business development and represent the firm within the South Florida real estate community
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 15 + years of substantive experience in commercial real estate transactions
- Depth across acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and joint ventures
- A demonstrated track record advising institutional and private clients on complex, high-value deals
- Strong leadership capabilities and the judgment to manage sophisticated matters independently
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- Florida Bar admission required
Preferred Attributes
- An existing book of business is a plus, but not required
- Established relationships within the South Florida commercial real estate market
- Experience mentoring junior attorneys and building practice teams
