Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney seeking to work on high-profile mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within one of the most elite corporate practices in the country. The team advises leading private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and major corporations on complex and sophisticated transactions across a variety of industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
Assist with deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction execution
Draft and negotiate transaction agreements and related corporate documents
Manage key aspects of deal processes and transaction timelines
Work collaboratively with partners and clients on complex corporate matters
3–8 years of corporate transactional experience, particularly in M&A and/or private equity
Strong understanding of corporate law and deal management
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Outstanding academic credentials
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility to obtain admission
