Commercial Real Estate Associate
Location: New York, NY, hybrid
Experience: 3–6 Years
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its New York office. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border real estate transactions alongside a nationally recognized team representing institutional investors, developers, lenders, and investment funds.
What You'll Work On:
- Advising clients on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Representing lenders and borrowers in construction and permanent financing transactions
- Drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements and entity formation documents
- Supporting portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, REIT transactions, and real estate fund matters
- Structuring equity joint venture investments and complex ownership arrangements
- Handling transactions involving office, industrial, retail, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use assets
What We're Looking For:
- 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
- Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate finance
- Experience with joint ventures, entity structuring, and equity investments
- Exposure to portfolio transactions, REITs, and real estate funds preferred
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Team-oriented with the ability to manage sophisticated matters and increasing client responsibility
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active New York Bar admission or eligibility to waive into New York
