Real Estate Associate Attorney (Leasing)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join the prestigious firm in its Century City office. This is an opportunity to work with highly regarded real estate lawyers on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

• Draft and revise commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.

• Review title and survey documents and manage the closing of purchase and sale transactions.

• Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a keen interest in learning.

• Participate in real estate industry organizations like ULI, NAIOP, or CREFC.

• Education: J.D. with strong academic credentials.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including lease drafting, purchase and sale agreements, and title/survey review.

• Skills: Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.

• State Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the State Bar of California.

• Other: Am Law 200 law firm experience is preferred, and candidates should have an interest in the real estate industry.

• Salary Range: $225,000 to $275,000 (actual salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors).
