With over 35 years in business, the Delta-T Group has built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term independent contract opportunities.One of our clients is seeking an Occupational TherapistCLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE Part Time or Full-Scheduled Role | Earn Up to $77/hr School-Based SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITYThe Occupational Therapist (OT) provides specialized services to support the academic success, independence, and overall well-being of students with disabilities or developmental delays. The OT evaluates students' needs, develops individualized intervention plans, and collaborates with teachers, staff, and families to ensure access to the educational environment in accordance with state and federal regulations.CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher) from an accredited program
- Current Texas OT license; NBCOT certification preferred
- Schoolbased or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and ADA in educational settings
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with the ARD/IEP team
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in individual, group, and classroom settings
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioralhealth and special education.
