CNC Mill Operator
Location: Belmont, MI Pay: $18/hr Shift: 1st Shift
Workbox Staffing is hiring a CNC Mill Operator in Belmont, MI. This position operates and sets up CNC milling machines to finish steel plates to required thickness and tolerances. Willing to train the right candidate!
Duties:
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and follow part drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Select and change cutters as needed.
- Secure workpieces using magnetic tables, chucks, or clamps.
- Use micrometers, scales, and indicators to set up and inspect parts.
- Maintain quality standards and work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of CNC milling or related Tool & Die experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Ability to read a micrometer.
- General understanding of machinery.
- Ability to follow directions and learn new processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
