A large Charlotte, NC law firm with a national practice seeks a Corporate Associate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 6 years of experience primarily in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, private equity and/or general business matters.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating corporate documentation, including acquisition documents, joint venture agreements and general commercial contracts.
- Experience with corporate governance matters and reviewing securities offering materials.
- Accounting and/or finance background.
- Understanding of financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Academic excellence.
