Job Title: Fulfillment Coordinator Location: Riverdale, New Jersey Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $20.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Overview This position will start in assembly or material handling and then once perm, the main objective of the role will be to drive a box truck with materials from one company location to another, and back and forth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company box truck and/or other vehicles in a safe and courteous manner according to schedule
  • Pick up boxes of metal parts, load and unload into truck or other vehicle, ensuring proper handling and cleanliness
  • Complete periodic vehicle maintenance and report any issues
  • Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
  • Assemble metal parts using hands and basic tools efficiently
  • Maintain accurate counts of assembled items and adhere to quality standards
  • Learn and utilize the in-house work order control system
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Comfortable and competent driving a box truck
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in using a tablet
  • Basic Math Skills including measuring and calculator use
  • Ability to understand basic engineering concepts and units of measure (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.)
  • Good hand dexterity in fingers and wrists for assembling metal parts
  • Fluent in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Basic computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent customer-service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
