Job Description
A-Level Automotive Technician / Master Diagnostic Technician
H&L Automotive | Allison Park, PA
Great technicians don't need another job... they deserve a better place to build a career.
If you're an experienced technician, chances are you're already employed.
This ad isn't for someone who's simply looking for a paycheck.
It's for the technician who's tired of carrying the entire shop on their back.
The one everyone goes to when they can't figure out a vehicle.
The one diagnosing the electrical problems, drivability concerns, and intermittent issues after everyone else has already thrown parts at it.
The one expected to solve impossible problems while somehow beating flat rate.
If that's you...

Who We Are
At H&L Automotive, we believe a repair shop is only as good as the people working in it.
We're a family-owned, community-focused repair facility built on three simple principles:
Honesty. Integrity. Transparency.
Owner Will Lemke has proudly served as a volunteer firefighter in the local community for more than 20 years. That same commitment to serving others is the foundation of how we treat both our customers and our employees.
The people who trust us with their vehicles aren't just customers—they're our neighbors, our friends, and our families. We see them at the grocery store, at our kids' sporting events, and throughout the community every day. That's why we believe every repair matters.
We've grown from the ground up into a thriving repair facility in just four short years by doing things the right way. Today we're proud members of the TechNet Professional Network and RepairPal Certified Network, perform repairs for multiple third-party warranty companies, maintain a 5-star Google reputation, and were recognized as one of the Top 3 Auto Repair Shops in the area in 2025.
The Opportunity
As our A-Level Automotive Technician, you'll be trusted with the work that requires experience, critical thinking, and professionalism. From advanced diagnostics and drivability concerns to electrical troubleshooting and major mechanical repairs, you'll have the opportunity to put your skills to work every day in a shop that values doing the job right the first time.
We believe our technicians are more than employees—they're professionals whose knowledge and experience directly shape the success of our business.
Your voice matters here.
If you have ideas for improving shop efficiency, investing in better equipment, refining repair procedures, or creating a better customer experience, we want to hear them. Some of the best ideas come from the people turning the wrenches every day, and we believe they deserve a seat at the table.
We're not looking for someone to simply clock in, fix cars, and go home.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving difficult problems, supports the growth of the technicians around them, and wants to help build something they'll be proud of for years to come.
What You'll Do
• Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and performance concerns
• Perform advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs
• Complete accurate Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians

• Maintain high-quality workmanship while working efficiently
• Help improve shop processes and contribute ideas that move the business forward

One Final Thought...
If you're happy where you are, we genuinely wish you continued success.
We're not interested in convincing someone to leave a great shop.
