At Zenith Design + Build, our Field Superintendent plays a critical role in bringing our designs to life. You will serve as the primary on-site leader for multiple residential remodeling projects, working in close partnership with our Project Managers, subcontractors, and homeowners. Your leadership ensures projects move forward with quality, clarity, and professionalism — from demolition through final punch list.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the field, coordinating trades, solving issues before they become problems, and representing Zenith with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Leadership & Project Execution - Serve as the primary on-site leader for assigned remodeling projects (typically 5–7 active sites), maintaining daily visibility on job progress, quality, safety, and workflow.
- Subcontractor Coordination - Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors across multiple active projects, building strong working relationships with trade partners grounded in trust, accountability, and clear communication.
- Communication and Reporting - Provide regular field updates to Project Managers, the Construction Manager, and homeowners.
- Quality Control and Client Experience - Ensure all work meets Zenith quality standards and project specifications and support a smooth, respectful, and positive client experience throughout construction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction or remodeling
- 3+ years of experience coordinating subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite logistics
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable using basic technology for communication and reporting
