Material Handler

Pay: $16.50per hour

Burgaflex North America is a leading provider of tube & hose assemblies for the heavy truck, agriculture and construction markets. Due to our dynamic growth BNA is seeking Material Handler(s) to join our Operations Team!

Job Description:

In this role, you would be responsible for operating an industrial forklift, the loading and unloading trucks trailers or shipping containers. Monitoring shipping requirements and verification that all required product is loaded and shipped on time. Occasionally, a Saturday may be scheduled for work.

Material Handlers will need to learn and understand overall material flow & process(es) as well as other functions related to warehouse activities and customer orders. They are also required to possess a High School Diploma/GED, must be able to add, subtract & multiply, be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Picking orders is expected. This job is in a manufacturing environment therefore temperature varies.

Operate the industrial forklift to move materials in the warehouse region and to load and unload truck trailers and/or shipping containers. Must understand overall material flow processes and other functions related to warehouse activities and customer orders. Must have excellent communication skills to communicate effectively. The Material Handler must also prioritize multiple projects, resolve problems in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment, and have computer skills.
