Custom Job Shop Builder/Assembler

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various parts of shelters, such as roofs and lights, using hand and power tools, and following detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
• Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications
• Measure materials with a tape measure and comprehend print reading
• Report on problems with quality, equipment, and materials to Team Lead or Management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• 1 year of experience with hand and power tools (required)
• 1 year of carpentry experience (required)
• Familiarity with saws, panel saws, nail guns, and packaging
• Ability to lift over 30 lbs., additional team lifts of over 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic computations using fractions
• Comprehension and execution of cut sheet instructions and blueprints
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to work in a team environment with a diverse workforce
• Must follow all safety rules
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Weekdays from 6am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is possible on Saturdays.
