CDL Class A Truck Driver Owner Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Combined Transport Systems is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers and owner-operators for a dedicated flatbed steel route running:

• Lanes run between Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Ghent, KY and Northwest Indiana
• O/Os 75% + 100% FSC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport steel products between Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Ghent, KY and Portage, IN.
• Properly secure flatbed loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other securement equipment as required
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
• Ensure all cargo securement meets DOT and company standards
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation paperwork
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shipping/receiving personnel
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in all weather and traffic conditions
• Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly
• Deliver freight on time while maintaining a strong safety record
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Class A CDL
• 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• 6 months verifiable flatbed experience
• Clean MVR and PSP
