Branch Sales Manager
Job Description
Position Overview
The Branch Manager will lead and drive performance or the sales office, overseeing the
development, recruitment and management of all sales staff. Responsible for building
and executing sales strategies to achieve production goals. The Branch Manager is a key
member of the Sales leadership team.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for all aspects of the origination goals and strategy for the sales team. This
- includes planning, organizing and directing strategic initiatives, sales development,
- leadership and management of production in assigned location
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a strong, team-oriented culture within the
- branch to maximize employee performance
- Direct and manage the production volume of Mortgage Analysts including and support
- staff to originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with policies, procedures and
- guidelines
- Work directly with the training department to implement training strategies for sales staff
- Provide ongoing training, support and direction to a Mortgage Analysts, and support staff
- Manage employee relations and evaluations
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with Management
- Assist in developing and implementing company policies
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, guidelines, and federal/state regs
- Work closely with corporate HR department to handle all employee relations
- Support the company’s strong relationship culture through on-going customer contact,
- quality customer service, and superior product knowledge
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by Senior Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) Finance, Business, or Economics or equivalent combination of
- education and experience
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities
- Ability to maintain strong knowledge of the ever-changing guidelines of the mortgage
- industry through continuing education and licensing requirements.
- Excellent oral communication skills / Analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
