We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Carpenter to independently manage repairs and upkeep across multiple office and shop locations in Newport News, Hampton, and Chesapeake. This role combines scheduled maintenance with reactive tasks to ensure all facilities remain in excellent condition, requiring limited travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on office and shop facilities
- Maintain cleanliness and order of shop and office environments
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to urgent repair issues as they arise
- Work independently across multiple sites with limited travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for inter-site travel
- Strong carpentry skills and hand tool proficiency
- Basic knowledge of plumbing maintenance
- Experience with painting and finishing work
