Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner

• We're looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and trained FNP or PA willing to become part of our growing practice.
• Seeing patients of all ages
• Urgent Care & Family Practice Procedures
• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
• Facilitates staff, patient, and family decision-making by providing educational tools
• Consult with healthcare professionals
• Trains patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention
• Helps provide primary care to patients
• Performs physical exams and patient observations
• Records patient medical histories and symptoms
• Creates patient care plans and contributes to existing plans
• Orders, administers, and analyzes diagnostic tests
• Diagnose health issues
• Detects changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary
• Administers medicines and treatments
• Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
• Proficient in treating sprains and fractures.
• Proficient with urgent care procedures such as suturing I&D, splinting. Foreign body removal, x-ray interpretation etc.
