Pet Groomer

As a Pet Groomer working with a medium-sized team, you will provide expert grooming services primarily for dogs and cats. Your role involves delivering high-quality care including bathing, trimming, and styling while ensuring safety and comfort for each pet. Effective client consultations and precise record keeping using standard grooming software are essential, as well as maintaining strong in-person and phone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pet bathing, hair trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and fur styling
• Conduct client consultations to understand pet grooming needs
• Maintain grooming equipment and ensure safety compliance
• Schedule appointments using standard grooming software
• Keep detailed grooming and health records for each pet
• Communicate effectively with clients in person and via phone
• Adhere to health and safety standards throughout grooming process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pet grooming
• Proficient in handling dogs and cats safely
• Skilled in scissor and clipper techniques
• Knowledgeable in breed-specific grooming styles
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Understanding of health and safety standards
• Physical stamina to support active grooming tasks
