As an Occupational Therapy Assistant with our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled OTA to join our interdisciplinary team and contribute to the success of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions designed to improve cognitive, motor, and daily living skills
Develop and implement customized treatment plans, under the supervision of our occupational therapists
Conduct patient assessments, record treatment outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs
Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of California
0 years of experience (new grads welcome to apply!)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
