Commercial Claims Advocate

ICI is seeking a Commercial Claims Advocate to join our Wichita office. This person is responsible for taking the first report of claim, reporting the claim to the appropriate carrier, and working the claim through to resolution. The Claims Advocate serves as an advocate for the client when appropriate, and acts as a liaison between the client, claimant, and carrier adjuster — ensuring every claim is handled promptly, professionally, and with the client's best interest represented throughout.

• Take first report of claim from clients and gather all relevant details

• Report claims to the appropriate carrier promptly and accurately

• Work the claim through to resolution, keeping it moving and keeping the client informed

• Serve as an advocate for the client when appropriate, ensuring their interests are represented throughout the claims process

• Act as liaison between the client, claimant, and carrier adjuster to facilitate clear communication and timely outcomes

• Document all claim activity and correspondence within EPIC

• Manage day-to-day commercial account service needs, including policy changes, renewals, and coverage reviews

• Collaborate with producers and account executives to support overall client retention and satisfaction

• Active Kansas Property Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

• 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management, claims handling, or claims advocacy

• Strong understanding of commercial lines coverage (property, liability, auto, workers' comp, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to client advocacy

• Ability to manage multiple claims and accounts simultaneously with attention to detail

• Experience with EPIC or a similar agency management system preferred
