Job Summary
This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of interiors and exteriors of our facility and campus.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare surfaces including patching, stripping, sanding, ice blasting, pressure washing, etc…
- Apply finishes including epoxies, stains, paints, varnishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform exterior cleaning using pressure washing equipment
- Perform light carpentry in preparation for projects
- Perform concrete repairs, pothole repairs, brick repairs.
- Perform grounds maintenance including tree trimming, moving rock or soil
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with contractors or vendors as required for specialized services
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of supplies
- Support event setup, furniture moves, and minor custodial services as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); relevant technical training or certifications preferred
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or related
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
