NU3S is hiring a Head Cook / Kitchen Supervisor to lead kitchen operations while actively working alongside the team in our busy café. This hands-on role combines cooking, team leadership, training, inventory management, and quality control. If you're an experienced kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
'14; Experience as a Head Cook, Lead Cook, Kitchen Supervisor, or Kitchen Manager
'14; ServSafe Certification (required)
'14; Strong leadership and communication skills
'14; High-volume food service experience preferred
'14; Café, deli, bakery, QSR, or fast-casual experience a plus
What You Will Do
- Prepare and execute menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Lead, schedule, and support a growing kitchen team
- Train staff on food preparation, safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and kitchen productivity
- Manage inventory, ordering, and waste reduction
- Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently
- Assist with menu execution, specials, and process improvements
- Partner with management to ensure smooth operations and an excellent guest experience
- Lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume café environment
