We are hiring a Assistant Director of Nursing ADON!

Job Summary:

The Waters of Smyrna is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing ADON to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a leader in long-term care, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to help us achieve this goal.

ADON Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes, staff development, and overall departmental performance

  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and evaluation

  • Coordinate with other departments, including therapy, social services, and dietary, to ensure seamless care delivery

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them

  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including patient assessments, care plans, and staffing schedules

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, with a strong background in nursing administration

  • Current RN licensure in TN

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
