Warehouse and Yard Employee

Empire Pipe and Supply is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Operations Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining our warehouse and yard facilities, organizing inventory, and assisting with loading and unloading of products. You will also be responsible for interacting professionally with customers and co-workers, assisting drivers with deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Maintain warehouse and yard facilities in a clean and organized manner

Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking products and conducting inventory cycle counts

Load and unload products, including heavy items

Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed

Assist with shipping and receiving duties, and communicate any order discrepancies to inside salesmen

Assist drivers with proper loading and routing of deliveries, and maintain driver records such as delivery tickets and fuel receipts

Keep the yard cleaned and organized, and ensure all drivers are operating trucks and forklifts in a safe manner

Comply with all safety rules and company policy and procedures
