Overview

Compensation / Benefits

  • $36.36-$59.83/hr. depending on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $3.00/hr.
  • Night differential $3.50/hr.
  • Weekend differential $3.50/hr.

Nursing Resources provides 24/7 support for all nursing services. It combines Intake Coordinator, House Supervisor, House Resource and staffing coordinators. It is a fast past environment where team work, multi-tasking and critical thinking are key.


Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Facilitates patient throughput and bed assignments.
  • Provides administrative support to the health system in the absence of administration and departmental leaders.
  • Provides Clinical Support for Nursing Units.
  • Staffing Responsibilities
  • Serves as liaison to Medical Staff
  • Performs Utilization Review (UR) of patients admitted through the Emergency Departments (in conjunction with UR department).
  • Professional Practice
  • Serves as a unit representative on teams /committees when requested.

Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Experience

  • Three (3) years minimum medical-surgical and/or critical care.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Two years RN experience will be accepted if the RN has at least 6 months of RN experience within NRHS.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.

  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training is required within 6 months of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
