Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our client. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electromechanical equipment while partnering with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical manufacturing
- equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective repairs using the Computerized Maintenance Management
- System (CMMS).
- Conduct daily inspections of machinery to identify potential failures and address issues proactively.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical problems quickly to prevent unplanned outages.
- Follow all company health and safety regulations and promote safe work practices to maintain an Incident and Injury
- Free (IIF) workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S principles.
- Accurately complete maintenance work orders and documentation on time.
- Follow established maintenance processes and Leader Standard Work procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment issues and improve operational performance.
- Provide knowledge sharing and hands-on training to junior team members with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
- Support additional maintenance or facility-related duties as required to meet operational needs.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Experience using CMMS software for work order tracking and preventative maintenance scheduling.
- Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Certificate of Qualification is preferred.
- Welding certification or experience with fabrication is considered an asset.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks that may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, or crouching as neede
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
