Summary: This position is responsible for independently supporting and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and the ability to meet manufacturing schedules and growth targets.

Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following:

  • Develop and improve production processes to increase output, efficiency, and quality while reducing costs.
  • Lead troubleshooting of production issues involving tooling, quality, and process performance.
  • Develop process time standards, process flows, and layouts for production lines.
  • Participate in supplier technical reviews including capabilities, tolerances, and tooling concepts.
  • Lead small to medium Continuous Improvement (CIP) and Lean initiatives.
  • Coordinate updates to production-related documentation to reflect current processes.
  • Support implementation of capital equipment and tooling projects.
  • Use required software tools including SAP, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar), and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

MRPII-related (SAP) activities this position supports include:

  • Process routing development and updates
  • Capacity planning analysis
  • Work center data and cost review support

Recommended Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; or minimum 3–7 years related experience; or a combination of the two.
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles (preferred).
