Schedule: 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with potential overtime during week/or weekends
Position Summary
Assembly and Wiring Associates are responsible for assembling low- and medium-voltage electrical switchgear cabinets to support customer orders in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret assembly drawings, elevation drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
• Measure accurately using a tape measure
• Use manual hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
• Use power tools such as drills, impacts, and pneumatic torque wrenches
• Maintain a safe work area and wear required protective equipment
• Follow control document procedures and company guidelines
• Operate a forklift after proper training
• Maintain regular in-person attendance
What We’re Looking For
• High School Diploma, GED, or previous manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• Experience using shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic math, including fractions and decimals
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and professional communication
