Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly


Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  • Perform accurate refractions and visual acuity testing
  • Conduct preliminary patient workups (history, tonometry, OCTs, Optos, visual fields, etc.)
  • Support our physicians during exams and procedures
  • Contact lens evaluations
  • Assist in surgery charts/pre-op evaluations
  • Deliver a positive patient experience with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintain clinical flow, room patients efficiently, and assist with charting in the EMR (scribing)
  • Help out in any way that we need you to! We believe in cross-training our team for maximum efficiency

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in an ophthalmic or optometric clinical setting
  • Ability to perform refractions confidently and accurately
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-first attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
  • Comfort with technology and EMR systems (ophthalmology experience preferred)
  • A team-player mindset—someone who supports coworkers and contributes to a positive workplace
