Professional Driver, Full Time

You’ll ensure each child arrives at school ready to learn and returns home safely, while fostering a friendly and respectful environment on board. Your role directly supports families, teachers, and the broader community by keeping our students safe and on time.

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.

• Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, including those with special needs.

• Maintain order and a positive atmosphere on the bus, addressing student behavior respectfully and in line with school policies.

• Communicate promptly with transportation supervisors about delays, incidents, or maintenance needs.

• Adapt routes and schedules as needed due to traffic, weather, or road conditions.

• A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.

• A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages.

• Patience, reliability, and a calm demeanor in all situations.

• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and physical examinations.
