SERVICE TECHNICIAN

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Jack Chevrolet in MQV. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, including electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general maintenance. Your main goal will be to ensure that all vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently, and that all repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for writing routine reports and correspondence to keep our records up-to-date.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC or electrical systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs

Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, including electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general maintenance
• Ensuring that all vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently
• Completing all repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Writing routine reports and correspondence to keep records up-to-date
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Skills:

As a Service Technician, you will use your skills in electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general maintenance on a daily basis. You will also need to have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will need to be able to write routine reports and correspondence to keep our records up-to-date. Certification in HVAC or electrical systems, as well as experience with preventive maintenance programs, would be beneficial for this role.
