Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate | Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor | Location: Homestead, FL 33030
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store inbound shipments.
Pick, stage, and distribute materials for internal departments and retail locations.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and Kanban replenishment.
Assist with data entry in Business Central, excel, order.co, etc.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
Organize warehouse locations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Prepare outbound shipments and transfer materials between locations.
Assist with packaging inventory and operational supply replenishment.
Follow warehouse SOPs and safety procedures.
Support warehouse improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
Drive company vehicle(s) between local warehouses to reallocate materials.
May work with forklift and/or pallet jack to receive or distribute materials.
Can lift up to 50lbs or more and can meet the physical requirements of the job.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to pass a level 2 FBI background screening.
Must be 21 years or older to apply.
Clean driving record. An MVR may be processed upon hire or throughout employment.
1+ years of warehouse, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
Experience using inventory or ERP systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move materials safely.
Basic computer and communication skills are a must.
Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred.
Starting wage: $18.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full-time employees.
Due to the nature of this position, the company will request a photo of your driver's license and run a Motor Vehicle Report. DUIs, suspensions, moving violations or at-fault accidents may deem you ineligible for this position.
