Parkview Healthcare is actively hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support residents with safe and accurate medication administration. The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) plays a critical role in ensuring resident health, safety, and well-being. As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will work closely with nursing staff and the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Schedule and Employment Type

  • Part -Time Days (7AM - 3:30PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

  • Accurately document medication administration and report any discrepancies

  • Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns to nursing staff

  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of medications

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized medication cart and work area

  • Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Current state certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

  • Long-term care experience preferred but not required
