Reports To: VP, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) 

As Lead, FP&A, you’ll help the business understand performance, plan effectively, and make informed decisions through strong financial analysis, reporting, and partnership.

This role is ideal for someone who can lead FP&A workstreams, translate data into insights, and improve how finance supports the business.

Work Location
This position is eligible for remote work. Priority consideration will be given to candidates based in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area to support occasional in-person collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, and business review processes.
  • Prepare executive and board-level reporting with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze performance, explain variances, andidentifyrisks and opportunities.
  • Partner with business leadersonfinancial modeling, scenario planning, and decision support.
  • Use tools such as SQL, Power BI, and FP&A systems to improve reporting and analysis.
  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting routines, and use of automation or AI-enabled tools.

What You Bring

  • 4–6years of progressive FP&Aexperience,with at least 2 yearsinaSaaStechnologybusiness.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and management reporting skills.
  • Experiencepreparing executive or board-level financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, including SQL, Power BI, dashboards, and large datasets.
  • Ability to explain financial insights clearly to non-finance partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, curious, and comfortable improving processes in a changing environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and KPIs and ability to own the end-to-end revenue forecast model for a SaaS business, with full waterfall from bookings to billings to recognized revenue
