KIDS CENTRAL INSTRUCTOR

The Madison Area YMCA is seeking Kids Central Instructors. Kids Central Instructors play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children!

• Welcome and engage with parents during child drop-off and pick-up, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Supervise children using the Kids Central play structure to ensure a safe and positive experience.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, play, and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Kids Central space, including equipment, toys, books, and activity materials.
• Assist with the planning and facilitation of Kids Central enrichment programs and special activities.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, following YMCA policies and procedures.

Supervision of Youth:

• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
• Attend required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
