Job Title: Overnight Staff at a Residential facility

Facility: Nia Sanctuary Small Family Home

Location: Antioch, CA

Schedule: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $25 per hour

Job Summary:

Nia Sanctuary is seeking a dependable and compassionate Overnight Residential Staff member to provide supervision and support to children some with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 212, in a small family home environment. This role is vital to ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and care of residents during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure the safety of residents throughout the night

Assist with bedtime routines as needed

Remain alert and responsive to residents who wake during the night

Complete all assigned nightly duties and household tasks (cleaning, laundry, documentation, etc.)

Once residents are asleep and all duties are completed, staff may sleep but must remain responsive

Complete and sign off on the required Nightly Facility Checklist

Report unusual behaviors, incidents, or concerns in the communication log

Communicate effectively with the morning shift

Requirements:

Must have prior experience working in a licensed residential facility or group home

Experience with Autism and/or special needs populations required

Must have a clear criminal background check (Live Scan)

Ability to remain calm and attentive during emergencies or behavioral incidents

High level of reliability, accountability, and professionalism

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
