Join a 102-year-old moving and storage team as an Independent Contractor

We are seeking experienced CDL-A Contractors with their own tractor to partner with and grow with Arnoff. We have strong roots and a superior work ethic, and we take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, operating safely, and handling household or commercial goods with care. We want to hear from you!!!

Responsibilities

• Operate your tractor and Arnoff trailers safely and efficiently.

• Transport household goods, office furniture, equipment, and other customer property.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing shipments when necessary.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Maintain accurate paperwork, ELD logs, and delivery documentation.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations staff, and customers.

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

• Represent the company professionally at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A License with a clean driving record.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.

• Moving and storage, furniture delivery, or household goods experience preferred.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items safely.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to pass required background and motor vehicle record checks.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
