Job Title: General Laborer
Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Harrisburg, NC.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available
Monday – Friday, with some overtime on Saturdays

Job Summary:

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and handling steel materials, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a physically demanding position performed entirely outdoors in an industrial environment. Candidates must have previous construction, industrial, or outdoor work experience and be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect steel materials for quality and defects

· Hand wire steel parts to racks for processing

· Wrap chains and ropes for safe handling and storage

· Move steel materials by hand throughout the yard

· Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

· Assist with loading and unloading steel materials

· Perform general plant and yard cleanup

· Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Complete additional general labor duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

· Construction, industrial, or outdoor work experience required

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift

· Comfortable working entirely outdoors in all weather conditions

· Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and steel materials

· Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Willingness to work overtime, including some Saturdays, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience using hand tools and power tools

· Experience operating a forklift or working around heavy equipment is a plus

· High school diploma or GED preferred
