Miller Swim School is seeking a Senior Swim Instructor to help train and develop our instructor team while creating a safe, fun, and engaging experience for swimmers and their families. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced swim instructor who enjoys coaching others, leading by example, and making a meaningful impact in their community. What You'll Do
- Train, mentor, and support swim instructors and lifeguards
- Lead onboarding and ongoing staff development
- Provide in-water coaching and curriculum support
- Help maintain the highest safety and teaching standards
- Monitor staff certifications and training progress
- Deliver exceptional experiences for swimmers and families
- Collaborate with management to improve team performance and lesson quality
What We're Looking For
- Leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Previous swim instruction experience required
- Ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout shifts
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguard certifications required within 30 days of hire (training provided)
Schedule
- Weekday, evening, and weekend availability required
- 20+ hours per week
- On-site position in Tulsa, OK
