Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for staff development, wound care, and clinical excellence? We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Staff Development / Wound Care Nurse to join our team.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in educating and supporting our nursing staff while serving as a clinical resource for our wound care program. What You’ll Do as a Staff Development / Wound Care Nurse
Lead and coordinate staff education and training programs.
Provide ongoing education and support to nursing staff to promote quality care.
Coordinate and oversee our comprehensive wound care program.
Monitor wound care practices and help improve resident outcomes.
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
Ensure staff remain informed about current clinical practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Promote compliance with state and federal regulations and facility standards.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
Help foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident-centered care.
What We’re Looking For
Current RN license.
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Experience with staff education and/or wound care preferred.
Wound care certification preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teaching skills.
A passion for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the professional development of nursing staff.
