Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for staff development, wound care, and clinical excellence? We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Staff Development / Wound Care Nurse to join our team.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in educating and supporting our nursing staff while serving as a clinical resource for our wound care program. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys mentoring others, improving clinical outcomes, and making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives every day.

What You’ll Do as a Staff Development / Wound Care Nurse

  • Lead and coordinate staff education and training programs.

  • Provide ongoing education and support to nursing staff to promote quality care.

  • Coordinate and oversee our comprehensive wound care program.

  • Monitor wound care practices and help improve resident outcomes.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

  • Ensure staff remain informed about current clinical practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Promote compliance with state and federal regulations and facility standards.

  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.

  • Help foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident-centered care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current RN license.

  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.

  • Experience with staff education and/or wound care preferred.

  • Wound care certification preferred.

  • Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.

  • A passion for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the professional development of nursing staff.
