Staff On Site is currently seeking Receiving Technician for all shifts. If you're looking for a fast-paced position with an established company, we want to hear from you!
Specific duties include:
- Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming goods for correct identification, condition, and compare to purchase orders or invoices.
- Count, package, and sign for materials; enter data into inventory or ERP systems; maintain accurate stock levels and cycle counts.
- Check for damages, discrepancies, or defects.
- Sort merchandise by department or product type; store items in designated locations.
- Prepare outgoing orders, box and ship products, create shipping labels, and generate Bill of Ladings.
- Arrange and load shipments, manage FIFO/sequential order placement, and coordinate with carriers
- Handle Return Merchandise Authorization items.
- Follow all safety protocols; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
Qualifications include:
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with distribution software is a plus
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
Physical Demand:
- Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.
Work Environment:
- 100% manufacturing setting
- Associates must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Associates will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.
