Salary: $120,000 to $200,000 DOE

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric servicesto youth and their families within a youth- and family-driven care model. Responsibilities include:

  • Psychiatric diagnostic evaluations
  • Medication management
  • Psychoeducation for youth and families
  • Consultation with multidisciplinary team members
  • Ongoing collaboration to support integrated care

The schedule and caseload are intentionally structured to allow adequate assessment and follow-up time, including two-hour initial intakesand one-hour follow-ups.

This role supports youth and families across all behavioral health programs and offers flexibility for a combination ofvirtualandin-personcare delivery, with a strong preference for inperson services.

Salary: $120,000 to $200,000 per year (Exempt) with full benefits which you can review at the agency career webpage.

Required Qualifications

  1. Graduate degree or higher in Nursing with a psychiatric focus
  2. Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)licensure with prescriptive authority
  3. Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)or equivalent, with competency in treating adolescents and young adults
  4. DEA Registrationfor prescribing Schedule IIV medications and all required prescriptive agreements and NPI credentials
  5. Ability to be reimbursed for services by Medicare and Medicaid
  6. Minimum two years of psychiatric nursing experience
  7. Experience working with adolescents with complex mental health needs, co-occurring substance use disorders, and/or vulnerable populations
  8. Knowledge of issues affecting youth, young adults, and family systems
  9. Proficiency with required technologies, including Telehealth platforms, Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office, and Windows
  10. Proficiency in SERI Medicaid billing codes and standards

Preferred Qualifications

  1. At least five yearsof experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  2. Completion of an accredited psychiatric residency, with preference for child & adolescentor lifespanpsychiatry
  3. Ability to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
