Part-Time Retail Associate - East Petersburg Retail Location

S. Clyde Weaver is hiring Part-Time Retail Associates in our East Petersburg store/cafe location!

This position is a part-time position working 20-28 hours per week and must be able to close (store/cafe close at 5 PM on Mon-Thursday and Saturday and 6 PM on Fridays). Closed on Sundays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and wait on customers promptly and courteously.
• Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing a friendly, polite and knowledgeable service.
  
• Prepare custom made sandwiches, subs, and other food items.
• Prepare custom made coffee and tea beverages.
• Prepare and serve specialty deli meats, cheeses, and other ready-to-eat food items.
• Clean and maintain all assigned areas throughout shift.
• Work individually and with the team, to surpass expectations in an efficient, motivated and positive, can-do manner.
• Adhere to safe food handling procedures.
• Opening or closing procedures.
• Follow all food safety and health procedures.
• Accurate use of cash register & POS system.
• Engage in cross-training opportunities.
• Complete assigned duties, checklists and other tasks as assigned.

• • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of retail and/or food service experience desired
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
