Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Looking to staff a part-time caregiver every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, starting August 23. The caregiver must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car.
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
