Responsibilities:
Wash, dry, and iron patient garments, linens, and hospital equipment according to established protocols
Fold, hang, and store cleaned items in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectiveness
Identify and remove stains, soil, or other imperfections from clothing and linens
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean laundry
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
Follow established procedures for handling and storing hazardous or sensitive materials
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
