Job Summary

Southend Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a PRN capacity. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, quality, and patient safety standards within the pharmacy.

This is a PRN position requiring availability for every other weekend and four weekdays per month, as needed, with standard hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Flexibility is required based on business and operational needs.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform sterile compounding with precision and adherence to protocols

  • Ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution

  • Maintain proper documentation and organization of medication records

  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed

  • Support compliance with all regulatory and safety standards


Required Qualifications


  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License

  • Recent experience in sterile compounding environments

  • Sterile compounding certification (ACPE)

  • Ability to work required PRN schedule and maintain flexibility


Preferred Qualifications


  • Completion of accredited sterile compounding training (40 hours)
