Experienced Nanny
Job Description
We are a young couple in River Oaks with a 16-month-old girl. We are looking for an experienced nanny who could live in or live out and who has experience as an educator or teacher. Bonus if you speak a second language, especially Spanish. Must be patient, warm, and friendly. This would be a full-time position with benefits and would begin in September.
Compensation:$80,000
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care for our infant, including feeding, diapering, nap schedules, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
Design and implement evidence-based activities to support cognitive, emotional, and motor development.
Foster developmental milestones through activities such as tummy time, sensory play, music, reading, and exploration.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for the child.
Assist with light household tasks related to childcare.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience caring for toddlers, with a focus on early childhood development (references required).
Background in toddler development, early childhood education, or a related field strongly preferred.
Up-to-date vaccinations.
Non-smoker, reliable, and punctual.
Ability to handle the physical demands of caring for a newborn.
Open to occasional travel.
