Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes and checks payroll forms and report for accuracy and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Sets up and reconcile voluntary payroll deductions, prepares reports, identifies and researches exceptions
- Processes garnishments which include child support, tax levies, student loans, etc.
- Manage work-flow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Researches, analyzes and resolves payroll-related problems or questions
- Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations utilizing knowledge of the company, state and federal policies and regulations
- Compiles payroll reports for both internal and external purpose; submits to supervisor for review
- Conducts training sessions to explain payroll policies and procedures
- Perform compliances for unclaimed property and payroll checks
- Processes and maintains W-4 tax data and changes in personal data
- Insure the compliance all required entities as well as company policies; identifying financial risks within the department; and financial reporting.
- Collaborating with Payroll leader on process improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- UKG Pro and/or Kronos knowledge
- 1-2 years of payroll experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Onsite attendance is required
