In this position you will build and repair different types of valves and actuators. The Production technician reports directly to the Production Manager.Essential Functions, Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position will build and repair different types of valves and actuators. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies. Other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance.Work with internal staff to provide technical assistance with our VanZandt Controls supplied valves, actuators, and control productsPerform in-house repairs of valves, actuators and controlsWork with other production techniciansOperate a forklift (training will be provided)Other duties as assignedRegular and reliable attendanceResponsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policiesEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSPrior experience with valve actuation and/or control valves is preferred, but not requiredAbility to configure, calibrate and commission digital equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical documentsMust be self-motivated and have a willingness to grow your product knowledge in relation to VanZandt products, their functionality and useHigh-energy, flexible, self-starter, hands-on, comfortable working individually and in a team environment to reach goalsStrong attention to detailAble to lift 50 lbs. or less periodicallyHoursM-F 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (may be subject to change with the needs of the business) TrainingVanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation provides ongoing training and development plans
