The Prep Cook (Preparador) is essential to our scratch kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh ingredients and keep our coolers stocked so the kitchen can run efficiently and deliver high-quality food to our guests.

You’ll work closely with Cocineros (Cooks), Kitchen Leads, and the Manager on Duty to ensure everything is prepped correctly and ready for service.

• Accurately prepare all recipes according to Felipe’s standards

• Follow prep lists and complete tasks in the correct order

• Measure and portion ingredients correctly

• Taste food to ensure quality and consistency

• Set up and stock cold lines with fresh product

• Assist Cocineros in keeping the line stocked during service

• Unload, rotate, and organize deliveries

• Follow all food safety and knife safety procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized prep kitchen and refrigerators

• Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and trash as needed

• Properly care for kitchen equipment and report issues

• Passion for food and working in a kitchen

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently

• Team-first attitude and good communication

• Willingness to learn and grow

• Knowledge of food safety (training provided)
