JOB SUMMARY
Provides planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the pre-procedure, and post-procedure periods. Provides continuous patient surveillance for early recognition and immediate emergency treatment of medical or surgical complications that may arise in the pre/post-procedure patient.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Connecticut RN License.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- BLS and ACLS certification required prior to the date of hire.
- 2 years Endoscopy, Peri-Op, or Critical Care experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work closely with all physicians and staff.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
